Last updated: 28 October 2026

Who is responsible

The controller of personal data processed through this website is Cyberuptive Europe, Lda., NIPC 518443922. Registered office (legal correspondence): Rua Joaquim António de Aguiar, 43, R/C Esq., 1070-150 Lisboa, Portugal.

This policy covers this website only. Personal data we process when providing services to clients is governed by our contracts with those clients.

What we collect, and why

When you visit this website. Our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, keeps standard server access logs on its servers in Germany or Finland: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser’s description of itself. We use them only to operate and secure the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Access logs are kept for 14 days at most, then deleted.

When you write to us. The contact form does not send or store anything: it opens your own email app. If you then email us, we receive your message and your contact details. We use them to reply and, if you ask, to take steps towards a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep this correspondence only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows from it.

What we do not do

  • We set no cookies and store nothing on your device.
  • We use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
  • Fonts, images and scripts are served from this website itself, so your browser contacts no other service when you visit.
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who receives your data

Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany), which hosts this website in Germany or Finland, and our email service provider, as processors acting on our instructions under written agreements.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your personal data, and for its rectification, erasure or restriction. You may also object to its processing, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere (Articles 15 to 21). Write to dstevens@cyberuptive.com. We reply within one month, as the GDPR requires.

You may also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Av. D. Carlos I, 134, 1.º, 1200-651 Lisboa, www.cnpd.pt.
